We cleanse your skin, provide protective eyewear and prepare the treatment area before getting started.

During Treatment
Expect quick, warm light pulses as BBL HEROic moves across your skin. Zimmer cooling is used throughout your treatment for added comfort.

After Treatment
We finish with our Epicutis Lipid Recovery Mask and Glacial Glide to help soothe and comfort your skin. Mild redness and temporary darkening of pigmented spots are common.

How Many BBL HEROic Treatments Will I Need?
For clients addressing sun damage, redness, and uneven pigmentation, we typically recommend a series of three treatments spaced approximately four weeks apart. Some clients see noticeable improvements after one session, while others benefit from additional treatments. Maintenance treatments can help preserve your results.
How Much Downtime Should I Expect?
BBL HEROic has minimal downtime for most clients. You may experience temporary warmth, redness, mild swelling, or darkening of pigmented spots before they naturally fade or flake away. Most clients return to their normal routines quickly, but following your aftercare instructions and protecting your skin from the sun are essential.
When Will I See Results?
Pigmented spots often darken before gradually fading or flaking away over the following 7–14 days. Redness and overall skin tone may continue improving over the next several weeks. Results vary depending on your skin concerns and treatment plan.
Is BBL HEROic Safe for All Skin Tones?
BBL HEROic can treat a range of skin tones, but it isn’t right for everyone. We’ll assess your skin type, pigmentation concerns, sun exposure, and relevant medical history to determine whether BBL HEROic is an appropriate treatment for you.
Can I Get BBL HEROic If I've Recently Been in the Sun?
Recent tanning or significant sun exposure may mean we need to postpone your appointment. Treating recently tanned skin can increase the risk of unwanted pigmentation changes. We’ll review your sun exposure during your consultation and help you plan the safest treatment timing.
Should I Choose BBL HEROic or BBL HEROic + MOXI?
While BBL HEROic is especially effective for targeting sun spots, brown spots, and visible redness, MOXI goes a step further with gentle fractional resurfacing. It helps improve superficial pigmentation, uneven texture, and early signs of aging, giving your skin a smoother, more polished appearance.
