We use a high-quality, gentle hard wax applied at a low, warm temperature. Hard wax hardens and cools almost instantly and is removed without a cloth strip. It grips the hair, not the top layer of your skin, so it’s much gentler than hot strip wax.

What to Expect at Your Wax

Check In
You’ll be greeted in our waiting room, and we’ll confirm your services and whether this is your first waxing experience.

Your Wax
We’ll prepare the gloves, sticks, and wax while you get comfortable, then talk you through each step and chat to keep you relaxed. A bikini wax takes about 10 to 15 minutes.

Aftercare
We’ll finish with a soothing post-waxing oil and go over your aftercare instructions. Then you’re on your way with smooth skin.

What kind of wax do you use?
We use a high-quality, gentle hard wax applied at a low, warm temperature. Hard wax, also known as strip-less wax, hardens and cools almost instantly after it’s applied, and it’s removed without a cloth strip. Because it grips the hair and not the top layer of your skin, it’s much gentler than hot strip wax.
How long should my hair be for my first wax?
It is recommended that your hair be 1/2 inch long or the size of a grain of rice. If you stop shaving for at least four weeks it should be long enough!
Does it hurt?
This all depends on your mindset, your overall tolerance for discomfort, and whether or not you stay on our recommended schedule which is every 4-5 weeks.
How long does a Brazilian wax last?
The bikini area waxing takes about 10-15 minutes to do and lasts on average 4-5 weeks before you’ll need to come in again. Consistency is key! Your first bikini wax might not remove every single hair above the skin surface. It will remove the majority of it though! This is because our hair grows in different cycles. So the hairs that were growing below the skin surface during your first wax will get removed the next time because it has popped through the surface of the skin. After your third or fourth bikini wax, all of your hair should be caught up in the same growth cycle which means a longer lasting result for you!
What should I avoid right after waxing?
For the first 24 hours after your wax, avoid tanning, sexual intercourse, sweaty workouts, hot tubs, and tight clothing. Freshly waxed follicles are open, which can let bacteria in or cause irritation. Freshly waxed skin is also more prone to sun damage and hyperpigmentation if it’s exposed too soon.
What if I’m sweaty during the wax?
You’re not the only one! It can happen when you’re nervous or somewhere new. That’s okay, we all sweat, and your waxer will know how to handle it.
How do I prevent ingrown hairs?
Exfoliate two to three times a week with a gritty scrub, then follow up with a soothing anti-ingrown roll-on serum. You can find both in our studio.
Do you offer male Brazilian waxing?
At this time, we don’t offer male Brazilian waxing. We do offer laser hair removal for the male Brazilian area.
